Get the Lad a Job

While it is nothing new that Prince

Charles stands to inherit the throne,

time is a ticking away and he is not

getting any younger.

Why not let the Queen off the hook

and let her enjoy a relaxing retirement

with her family and dogs?  Shee too

is not getting any younger.  She comes

from a long line of long-lived elders,

so she should have as much time to enjoy

as possible free from the duties of State.

 

Charles, we know, has his Camilla and

Diana issues, but one would hope that

these are largely fading from the public

eye.

 

Even the young princes are not getting any

younger.  Why not give Charles a few years

at the helm, and then as the heir apparent

matures, let him take the reins after he has

found a suitable bride out of the public

eye.

 

This is the way I would run the universe, but

of course nobody has asked for my counsel

on this matter.
