Soho

Soho nowadays bears nary a resemblance

to the bohemian underbelly of days

past. Things evolve.

Soho’s bass could be heard whatever

the hour in the past.

The vim and vigour nowadays of the

area  seems a bit fades, as New

Labour or Britpop are gaining foothold.

Dickensian centuries past seem to

be getting wiped away.  Humour and

laughter replacing it.   One can

only hope.

While some mourn the changes as

negative, I for one am hopeful

that the dregs of our society can

be cleaned up a bit.  Drugs are a

huge problem.

As I’m writing  I have to think

that life in the future could never

be identically the same as our past.

We should not expect it to be so,

and we should not glorify something

just because it is old.
